Supervision

As well as supervising psychoanalytic practitioners, I also work with therapists from other orientations who would like to integrate more psychoanalytic thinking into their practice. I aim to work collaboratively with supervisees across all areas of their practice.

I work with trainees who are on placement or preparing for qualification. I also offer support to practitioners who wish to go into private practice or transition into management roles.

I have experience of supervising NHS, EAP, insurance and private practice work. My supervision qualification is The Minster Centre Postgraduate Diploma in Supervision.

I like to offer a space for the exploration of the therapist’s emotional responses to their clients, their practice and the role of psychotherapist more generally. I also support colleagues with ethical issues, risk management, conflict within organisations and managing practice in times of personal difficulty.

My fee is £70 per 50-minute session. My usual practice is to see supervisees twice-a-month. I currently have some supervision space weekday lunchtimes and some Friday afternoons. I’m happy to have an initial conversation on the phone about what you’re looking for from supervision.
