Psychotherapy,Personal Development& Workplace Issues

I like to offer a safe, calm and supportive space to people who are facing difficulty in their lives. It might be an emotional crisis or a lack of meaning and enjoyment. You may have the sense of feeling confused, stuck or disappointed in relationships. Perhaps you want to talk about a disturbing loss or new circumstances. You might be facing change as you take on an unfamiliar role or pursue a new goal.

We can talk through what you’re experiencing, begin to make sense of things, and find a way forward in your life. Some emotional difficulties and challenging situations are too much for one person to cope with by themselves. However, the two of us working together can help you manage how you feel, think creatively and consider the different choices you could make. Our time together is confidential, and you can take things at your own pace.

I’ve been practising as a psychotherapist since 1999. After a number of years employed in private sector and NHS therapy services, I’m now in full-time private practice. I’m a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist registered with the UKCP and a Senior Accredited Counsellor with the BACP.

I can help with a variety of personal issues and relationship difficulties. I’m also happy to work with people who don’t yet know what the matter is – or who feel like everything has gone wrong. My particular interest is in people who are facing a change in their identity – perhaps a loss, a transition or a new role in life. I also specialise in workplace issues and the emotional challenges of professional life.

My practice is based in South London, SW2. I offer weekly or twice-weekly sessions. My fee is £70 for each 50-minute session. Some people choose to attend on an open-ended basis, others use sessions until a particular issue has been resolved. You’re welcome to contact me by phone or e-mail with any questions you have, or to discuss booking an initial session.

I’m a registered provider with all the main private medical insurers. If your policy covers psychotherapy sessions, I’d be happy to discuss the referral process when we first speak and, if you’d prefer, also contact your insurer to confirm the details of your referral. I have a clear Enhanced Criminal Record Check from The Disclosure and Barring Service.
